I hope I didn't scare you away with that last note.
Hey, I just read your PMD LP as well, which I found on accident while looking for something else, and kept on reading because I really liked the characters, dialogue (that was more or less altered), and how clear all of the gifs looked. I just read through it all yesterday and today, and I noticed that after beating Rayquaza... the LP didn't really have much of a direction to go other than recruit this and go through that dungeon. I remember something about a Latios and Latias needing to be rescued or something along those lines, but outside of that, nothing really pops out at me for a better way to end your story than how you did.
I am curious though, you mentioned back when finishing the LP that you were also interested in doing a PMD2 LP. Is this still true? Did you ever attempt at starting an LP for PMD2 or did you stop completely at the end of Team Hugs' adventure?
The LP petered out because the plot sort of petered out; I'd have had to grind through a bunch of dungeons just to get 'legendary shows up, legendary is recruited', and I lost the impetus to do so.

As for PMD2... well, I started an LP with the gimmick that I, personally, was the human sucked into the pokemon world. However, it went over like a lead balloon (it didn't help that the Something Awful forums are furry-intolerant and some folks took it upon themselves to dig up my Internet history and imply I was a pokefucker), so I wound up abandoning it.  The forums have since put very strict anti-pokemon LP rules up, basically only allowing one guy to do narrative LPs, so I couldn't take another stab at it if I wanted to... which I don't.  I'd started the second LP blind, and playing through the game on my own made me realize that it's a worse game than the first in measurable ways, which eventually put me off.
Ah, that's interesting. I think you're probably the first person I've met that stated PMD2 was worse than PMD1.
I'm sorry about hearing what happened on the forums though! I've never been there before, so I wouldn't know anything about how the site works or what rules they have, but that doesn't sound nice.
At least we can be glad that Team Hugs got saved over at the lparchives and anyone can search for them and read them as time passes on. James and Sheldon shall be remembered for their efforts and hugs!
I know you get a lot of people saying this, but I read your PMD LP about Team Hugs. It was awesome ^^ and really funny. I stayed up all last night and the night before reading it. It's a bit of a shame you never got art for some of the hugs :( (at least, on time) and I have to admit I've been doodling Jake hugging various Pokemon recently.
But it's probably my favorite LP I've ever read. I especially liked the beginning when Sheldon was getting fed up with how childish Jake was.
Thank you for the kind words! It always feels good to know I've made someone's life a little bit better.
Thank you for watching, FredMSloniker.
